This Privacy Policy describes how the AI Switcher Chrome Extension ("the Extension") handles your data.

We collect absolutely no personal or sensitive user data.

The Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, browsing history, authentication cookies, or usage analytics. All operations performed by the Extension occur entirely locally on your device.

2. How the Extension Works (Network Request Modification)

To function correctly, the Extension utilizes Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API. This API allows the Extension to locally modify network response headers.

Specifically, the Extension is configured to strip X-Frame-Options and Content-Security-Policy headers only from the specific AI web applications you access through the tool (e.g., Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and DuckDuckGo AI).

This header modification allows these specific websites to be rendered side-by-side within the Extension's local interface.

• The Extension does not intercept, read, or monitor the content of these network requests.
• The Extension does not have access to your chat histories or login credentials.

3. Permissions Justification

The Extension requests the following permissions to operate:

• declarativeNetRequest: Required to remove framing restriction headers locally so the AI services can be embedded side-by-side.
• Host Permissions: Access is strictly limited to the domains of the supported AI services (e.g., https://gemini.google.com/*, https://chatgpt.com/*). The Extension has no permissions or access to any other websites you visit.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Because no user data is collected by the Extension, no data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

The Extension acts as a local interface to access third-party AI services. Your interactions with those AI services (such as Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude) are governed by the respective Privacy Policies of those companies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of the AI services you choose to use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
